Points are awarded based on finishing position in each of the point races.

If two or more competitors finish the season tied in total points, the tie is broken using the following criteria in order:
- Most race finishes: The competitor who officially finished the highest number of races during the season.
- Earliest season attendance: The competitor who participated in an official race earliest in the schedule.
- Highest finishing position: The competitor with the best individual race finish (or the most wins, followed by second-place finishes, etc.).
- Earliest top finish: If still tied, the competitor who achieved their highest finishing position earliest in the season.
Any safe bike under 450 cc is allowed on track as long as it meets the tech requirements.

Riders must have a full face DOT/ECE helmet, full fingered gloves, and boots that go over the ankle. If a rider opts to use a dirtbike style helmet (must be DOT/ECE certified), they must also use goggles. We highly recommend a 1 or 2 piece leather suit, but will allow racers to race with full motocross gear (chest/back, shoulders, elbows, knees). A back protector is not required, but is highly recommended.
If you don’t have a race suit – please reach out to us via social media. We have a number of suits available as loaners for new riders.

Everyone in the hot-pit area is required to purchase an insurance wristband for $15. There’s no additional fee.
Spectators are usually allowed in cold pit without a wristband/fee.
On race days everyone on track must have a transponder. We use the MyLaps TR2 transponder for all timing. Transponders are available to rent for $15 on race days, or you can bring your own (just make sure it’s charged!)
Team Safety Third photography provides the photos for free to all racers. Just use the password “ts3” to make them free. Tips are appreciated!
Race days cost $70 for your first class. Each additional class is $5. Everyone is required to have a transponder on race days – transponder rentals are $15.
