Safety Tech Requirement
Mechanical and Controls
- Throttle: Must return freely and snap closed instantly.
- Brakes: Fully operational front and rear brakes.
- Guards: Bar ends or lever guards required to protect the throttle.
- Levers: Must have rounded bar ends unless fully enclosed by handguards.
- Hardware: No loose parts, no leaking fluids, and absolutely no sharp edges.
Fluids
- Engine Fluids: No anti-freeze allowed! Water, Water Wetter, or Engine Ice only.
- Drain Plugs: Oil drain plug and fill cap must be safety wired or secured with silicone.
- Fuel/Coolant Catch Cans: Mandatory catch cans for fuel (if carbureted) and coolant (if water-cooled).
- Gas Tank Ventilation: 1-way breather valve required on all vented gas caps.
- Chassis: Tires, wheels, and drive chain must be in excellent mechanical condition.
Appearance
- Race Numbers: Must be clearly visible on the front and both sides of the machine.
- Lights & Lenses: Headlights, tail/brake lights, and turn signals must be completely taped off or removed entirely.
- Mirrors: Must be completely removed or taped off securely.
